weekend roundup: toronto
The wind roared, the cold sunk into my bones, and it snowed. Really snowed, with flakes fluttering and twinkling on wild flashes of sun. It was a weekend for visiting family and traversing the city from the east end to the west and back again. Jumping on and off the streetcar, mittened hands wrapped around a cup of chai, the fur of my parka hood brushing my eyelashes, cheeks buried beneath the soft layers of a scarf.
It was a weekend of steaming coffee, fragrant soup, the best Thai food and the warmth and comfort of my Number One’s house. A weekend for putting together pieces of old stories and reveling in the prospect of creating new ones when I move back to my hometown next year …

I loved it too. The snow was blowing wildly when I took the shot … although at that shutter speed, it looks more like streaks than flakes.I’m in fine form again. Thanks for your v kind words! X

It’s cold enough here to snow, well, at least this morning it was cold enough… It’s now in the high 30’s. I love Toronto… haven’t been there in too many years. Lovely photos, thank you.
