How has your weekend been? My living room is flooded with sunshine, making this couch even more of an anchor. I’m simply lapping it up. It’s been a weekend of puttering and making. While there was no Easter dinner that could be called traditional, I did roast a pork shoulder, low and slow and made a Carolina sauce and chili as well. So it was all pulled pork, guacamole, caramelized onions, roasted peppers, salsa and tostadas  around here. And Number One made a salad that was heaven in a bowl: arugula, baby spinach, fresh parmesan, marinated and roasted brussels sprouts and a poppin’ lemony dressing. And there was chocolate, natch. A bowl of speckled eggs and luscious foil-wrapped ones circulated the table after dinner. The boys bit the heads off their rabbits (only the bells on red ribbons are left …) and played guitar, while Zoë and I talked home decor projects. We’re both taking steps to spruce up our nests. Spring is good for that!
